The DNR has many responsiblities in the area including Morse Reservoir.
There are 3 options with direct dock access for dinning on Morse Reservoir. The Boathouse is located on the north end of the lake. Also, there are community docks in Cicero where you can park and walk to all the local restaurants. All the establishments are open to the general public.
While there are numerous idle zones on Morse, there are two larger idle zones on the south and north side. The area north of 236th is all idle zone. On the south side, to the west of the damn, the area which leads up to Little Chicago road is all idle zone.
Also, keep in mind the areas around bridges, gas docks and the marina also have restricted idle zones.
Located at the marina where you launch your boat is Wolfies Restaurant. Just past the Carrigan bridge you will find Harbour Trees Beach Club. They have lakeside docking, however a membership is required to enter. Morse Park and Beach is also located near the damn and offers several picnic options
